Being environmentally friendly does not take away the comfort and pleasure from your holiday experience, in fact it should enhance it by allowing visitors to feel they are making a positive contribution to the health of the planet by taking a few small steps. The campsite is managed to be sensitive to the needs of flora and fauna, a balance is maintained between the need to provide essential natural habitats and comfort, space and tranquillity for those staying with us.We have a maximum of 6 tipis, which allows our guests to retain their privacy and permits us to offer an excellent level of service. We also provide a table d'hote (evening meal) a few nights per week, where everyone on site gets together to unwind, discuss their plans and enjoy a home-cooked meal. Many of our guests have said that this was the finishing touch to a relaxing holiday. Terre d'Aromes Situated in the small village of Seranon in the Alpes Maritimes, you'll find Yurts in the pines. Somewhere you can test the famous Yurt warmth perhaps, if you go when the snow is still lying ! Tipis Indiens In the Hautes-Pyrénées, at Gèdre - Gavarnie, facing the Cirque de Gavarnie, at 1300m altitude. Indian teepees suitable for 4 to 6 people. There is also a multi-purpose sports pitch offering badminton, volley ball or 5 aside. Sports equipment is available on site. La Pierre Verte Back to nature Yurt holiday in France. ‘La Pierre Verte’ is 5 minutes from the medieval town of Uzès, 30 minutes from Nimes and 40 minutes from Avignon in Southern France. An area of outstanding natural beauty, surrounded by vineyards, picturesque villages, and an abundance of fresh air. There are lots of stunning local tracks for walkers and cyclists alike and we can loan you good guide books. Our local village, Arpaillargues, is a 10 minute walk away through vineyards and olive groves where you will find a small epicerie, bakery, restaurant, bar and pharmacy. There will also be some organic home-grown produce for sale on-site. Ardeche Yurt Holiday At 350 euros a week, a Yurt has to look fantastic value in one of the great holiday destinations in France, the Ardeche. French site, with no English translation. Le Camp Le Camp is located in South West France, about one hour north east of Toulouse. It sits in an oak forest overlooking the lush green valley of the Aveyron, offering views over the immense Grezine oak forest. A beautiful round room with a removable roof cap for sky or star gazing.
